Taft Elementary School serves children from pre-school to grade five. Taft Elementary is enriched by the diversity of its student population. We serve a large number of English language learners whose native languages include Spanish, Bosnian, Chinese, Arabic and Vietnamese. We have an average of 310 students. Taft is one of the district elementary language centers. There are thirteen and one half regular education classrooms, two special education rooms and one pre-school. Our teachers are all certified for the areas to which they are assigned.
