Introduction

Throughout this WebQuest, you will be experiencing and learning about Anne Frank's life, Adolf Hitler, and the events surrounding the Holocaust.


Tasks - You must complete each of the tasks listed below.

Task #1: Journal Response to an image.
Many of the images relating to the Holocaust cause strong emotional responses. You must find at least one image from the online resources listed below and write a journal response indicating how it makes you feel. Click HERE for the specific details of this task.

Task #2: Special Investigator
You have been hired to investigate the circumstances surrounding the Holocaust, Anne's life, and her diary. It is your responsibility to evaluate these findings and determine reasons why the Holocaust happened and how Anne and others like her were able to maintain their faith in humankind.

Task #3: Personal Story
Millions of Jews perished during the Holocaust, but much of what we know about the horrific events that took place come from stories of those who lived through these times. After reading several personal stories, you must write a narrative from the point-of-view of someone who lived during these times. Click HERE for the specific details of this task.
